Cloisonne Enamel To-mu Teapot Ch'ien-lung period (A.D. 1736-1795) Ch'ing Dynasty This cylindrical-shaped vessel is shaped and jointed like a length of bamboo. The area between the joints, the straight flange along the back and the rim of the mouth are gilded with coiled flower-stem motifs, and inlaid with turquoise, coral and lapis lazuli. The reserves around the outer wall are decorated with flower and bird scenes, landscapes and figures painted in enamel colors.
